I am Andrew Grant.
Although I still call Scotland home, my work has taken me all over the world and I now live in Barcelona, Spain and I work across London, Berlin and New York. Over the past 20 years I have invested my time and energy into solving global problems with big ideas then turning those ideas into successful companies through effective leadership. In 2013 I launched TechAdVenture, a disruptive business model developed to deploy well-designed, well-built, effective, problem-solving tech quickly, that generates profits within three years or less. The focus of all my investment and activity is transformational technologies with global scale. The current focus of our investment activities is in finance, music and healthcare. All of the companies I create must deliver a positive impact on the quality of life for all inhabitants of this planet as well as deliver a return on investment to all stakeholders not just shareholders. THE DJ AWARDS
On May 14, 2024, I officially signed the papers to acquire The DJ Awards, founded in Ibiza in 1998 by José Pascual. Just four months later, the world’s leading DJs gathered at Club Chinois to celebrate the return of this legendary event. That night marked the reboot of an Ibiza institution and the beginning of an exciting new era for the brand. In 2025 we hosted The Reset Edition at ROTO, taking the event outside the club space for the first time and testing a more traditional awards dinner format with acceptance speeches. Dinner proved to be a winner, with feedback overwhelmingly positive and confirming the second successful event under my ownership. Now we’re focusing on The Relaunch Edition next year, which will move to a new premium home on the island, spread the celebrations over three days, and position DJ Awards as the official closing weekend of the Ibiza season. We’re also adding new events, VIP experiences, and holiday packages that set the foundation for international expansion in 2027—taking the Awards off the island for the first time in their 25-year history.
